June 5, 2010 • 8:00AM – NoonHart's Mills Parking Lot in the Village

The Tosa Farmers Market is pleased to announce that we are expanding. Starting opening day (June 5, 2010), the market will be situated on the newly restored Hart's Mills parking lot. This space offers market vendors and patrons a scenic, shaded setting along the Menomonee River, with ample parking now available on the municipal lot behind the LRS. The Hart's Mills lot is located just south of the historic Little Red Store (LRS) and along the Oak Leaf bike trail in the Village of Wauwatosa, across the Menomonee River from Chancery Family Pub and Café Hollander.Due to construction, the pedestrian bridge adjacent to Café Hollander will be closed through the beginning of June. In the meantime, to reach the Tosa Farmers Market drivers should take Watertown Plank from the west side of the Village to the end and turn left to park behind the LRS. Pedestrians and bikers can enter on the Oak Leaf Trail just north of Church Street on the Menomonee River Parkway and cross over the river into the parking lot behind the LRS. A short walk south along the bike trail and across the railroad tracks will take you to the market. Bike racks are available in front of the LRS.Please note that patrons must cross the railroad tracks that run through the Village at official crossings; anyone who crosses illegally may be subject to a fine by the city of Wauwatosa. The Tosa Farmers Market will be open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to Noon, June through October.
