Record crowd enjoys East Tosa cuisine at TENTA's "Taste" event at Birch

The evolution of TETNA’s “A Taste of East Tosa” from what it originally was to what it has become has been a wonder to behold. This year’s event featured a record number of East Tosa eateries putting their best foot forward to provide event patrons with tasty samples and delectable delights. The most stunning change, however, perhaps was the venue move to Birch, the event space on North Avenue adjacent to Camp Bar. The new location allowed guests to purchase beverages of their choice throughout the evening, an atmosphere that promoted mingling and socialization among the amazing neighbors of TETNA.We're already looking ahead to next year to make a few tweaks, adding even more restaurants and kicking things up a notch! In the meantime, thanks to all who came out to this great members-only event. The more than 80 attendees this year also may be a record, and we can’t say enough about how our local businesses came through with such a great lineup of food: Cosmos Cafe, Tosa Bowl and BunNorth Avenue GrillLutheran Home & Harwood PlaceIrie ZuluBelAir CantinaCranky Al'sRocket Baby BakeryOno Kine GrindzWauwatikiHue VietnameseIndulgence Chocolatiers, Cafe Blue, Ca' Lucchenzo, Milk & Honey Liqueur and McDonald's.If you’d like to get involved in your neighborhood, including by helping us with great events like this, send us a message or come to our next meeting, at 7 p.m. on the second Monday of each month in the Center Street Park pavilion.
