Neighbors encouraged to get involved by joining TETNA's board

It has been an honor and a pleasure to serve as your Tosa East Towne Neighborhood Association board president the past three years, and I have been encouraged recently by the level of interest among neighbors in volunteering their time to help make our neighborhood a better place. Our Annual Meeting is a great time to think about getting more involved, including on our board. Any TETNA member can serve, and this year I will be looking to hand off my role to a new TETNA president. If you are interested in that or any of our other officer roles, please email us at info@tosaeasttowne.org for more information. There are plenty of other reasons to join us for our Annual Meeting, which will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Tosa Bowl & Bun, 7212 W. North Ave. The agenda will include appearances by our council members and Wauwatosa police, and the presentation of our Volunteer of the Year Award and a $750 check to this year's college scholarship recipient. Plus food and good conversation. It's also a great way to spend time getting to know your neighbors. We hope to see you there.
