Make plans for TETNA's Nighttime Trick-or-Treat on Oct. 26

TETNA's Nighttime Trick-or-Treat will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 and is open to all blocks. Official participants must be registered TETNA members.Each group of children (recommended 14 and younger) should be accompanied by at least one adult. To participate, come to one of our registration events at Center Street Park Pavilion, 6420 W. Clarke St.

  • -  6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22
  • -  6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24
  • -  8:30-10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26

Participants can renew their membership or become members at tosaeasttowne.org/join, or bring the form on page 9 of this newsletter. Our membership year is Oct. 1 to Sept. 30.The cost to participate as a trick-or-treater is a 100-piece bag of candy per child. The candy must be individually wrapped and factory sealed. The first 500 people to drop off their candy at registration will be given a reusable trick-or-treat bag (max 5 per registered household).If you would prefer to hand out candy instead, come to registration and sign up, and you will receive a sign to put in your window and candy to distribute.

Teal Pumpkin Project

Teal is the color for food allergy awareness. The homes decorated with these brightly colored pumpkins indicate safe items for trick-or-treaters with allergies. Signs will also be available for pick up at registration.

House Decorating Contest

Register your house here by Friday, Oct. 25. All registered homes will be eligible to win prizes, based on the assessment of our secret judges. Winners will be announced and prizes distributed Sunday, Oct. 27.

Diaper Drive

You also are encouraged to participate in the Third Annual Tosa Tushie Drive. Bring a package of diapers and/or wipes to any of the Trick-or-Treat in-person registration times. Additionally, diaper/wipe donations can be dropped off at Tosa Pediatrics during Oct. 16 to 25. All diaper/wipe donations will be divided between the Sojourner Family Peace Center and Tosa Cares.
