The second Tosa Green Summit will be held April 20, 2011 from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Wauwatosa Civic Center, 7725 W. North Avenue. The event is a free informational open house to learn how you can make your community green and sustainable.Over 20 Exhibitors will provide awareness and education on topics ranging from home energy, conservation, water, gardening, transportation, and food. The featured speaker will be Dr. David Petering of UWM who will present, “Sustainable Development? It’s Not an Option!” at 7 pm. Mike Arney will also lead a roundtable discussion on the Wauwatosa Solar Co-op at 6 pm. Families are encouraged to attend and visit the Kid’s Green Corner, featuring the DNR’s Havenwoods State Park.
