2016 TETNA Block Party & Movie Night

We have lots of fun stuff planned, but the more volunteers we have, the more fun we can offer! Please sign up to volunteer.The TETNA Annual Block Party & Movie Night at Center Street Park is fun for the whole family, including: games (volleyball and kickball), activities (water balloon toss, bubble blowing, giant Jenga), food from the grill, and a bounce house! Come for the fun and food, and then stay at dusk to watch a movie under the stars!

Block Party Schedule of Events:

3:00 – Set up – give us a hand setting up tables and food3:30 – Bounce House opens (small fee for a hand stamp to take turns all evening)4:00 – Water Balloon Toss – all ages!4:30 – Food available for purchase: Hot dogs and sausages, corn on the cob, chips, watermelon, popcorn, drinks. Bring a picnic blanket and join us for an old-fashioned cookout.5:00 – Bubble Blowing Contest – fashion a wand from pipe cleaners and make the biggest bubble on the block! Face painting and temporary tattoos available too!6:00 – All Neighborhood Kickball Game – the whole family can join the team!8:00 – Set up your blankets and get ready for the summer family classic: The Sandlot (Recommended 8+, Common Sense Media Review)

Other features: A possible visit from our neighborhood Fire and Police department, volleyball net, and live music (do you know someone in the neighborhood who would be willing to play some tunes?
