TETNA's Nighttime Trick or Treat is Saturday, Oct. 27
TETNA’s Halloween Trick or Treat nighttime event is back and better than ever! Mark your calendars for the evening of Saturday, Oct. 27.Every year, TETNA offers this safe and fun event in our neighborhood. This year we are continuing to open the TETNA Trick or Treat event to all neighborhood blocks! So, get your costumes and spooky faces ready to explore the Halloween festivities that our whole neighborhood has to offer.The Trick or Treat event is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 27 and for TETNA registered members. The trick-or-treating is for children ages 14 and younger. The whole family is welcome to join the fun, and each group of children should be accompanied by at least one adult. You must register to be an official event participant – whether your little goblins will be trick-or-treating or you will be handing out candy (or both).
Want to trick-or-treat?
Come to the registration and sign up! The first 500 people to drop off their candy at registration will be given a reusable trick or treat bag (maximum of 5 per registered household). All participants will get a glow stick for each trick-or-treater. The cost to participate is a 100-piece bag of candy per child. The candy must be individually wrapped and factory sealed. Due to safety concerns, we cannot accept opened bags of candy.If you also are handing out candy and want to keep the kind you bought, just let us know at in-person registration, or you can just sign up online. Want to hand out candy?
Come to registration and sign up! You will get a sign to put in your window to identify your house as a TETNA participant and some candy to get you started.Note that this is a very popular event and we’re not able to provide all the candy that you might need to accommodate all the trick-or-treaters.You can either purchase more candy on your own or turn out your light when the candy runs out. Note: if you don’t plan to accept candy from TETNA, you can sign up online and print your Trick or Treat sign.
Teal Pumpkin Project
Don’t forget about the Teal Pumpkin Project too. Teal is the color for food allergy awareness, and trick-or-treat events present significant risks to those children who have been diagnosed with food allergies. The homes decorated with these brightly colored pumpkins indicate participation and support for the Teal Pumpkin Project. Signs will also be available for pick up at registration.
New this Year
In addition to trick-or-treat, TETNA will be holding a house decorating contest. Register your house with this form by Friday, Oct. 26. All registered homes will be eligible to win, and highlighted on the decorated homes map available online. Secret judges will be out from 6:30-8:30 on Saturday night. Winners will be announced and prizes distributed Sunday, Oct. 28.
Not a TETNA member yet?
Become a member and register for the event at the same time! Our membership year runs from Oct. 1-Sept. 30. Register and pay online, or bring your dues and this membership registration form and Trick or Treat registration form. We will have extra forms if you forget. But make sure to bring your bags of candy for all your trick-or-treaters!

Tosa Tushie Drive
The Second Annual Tosa Tushie Drive will be held in conjunction with TETNA Trick or Treat registration. Neighbors registering as trick-or-treaters or as treat-givers are encouraged to bring a package of diapers and/or wipes to any of the Trick or Treat in-person registration times. Additionally, diaper/wipe donations can be dropped off at Tosa Pediatrics during their regular hours Oct. 10 to 26. All diaper/wipe donations will be given to a local shelter to help families with small children.
