Tosa East Towne Neighborhood Association's Run Tosa Run 2015.rtrlogoRun Tosa Run is a chip-timed 5K run/walk and half-mile kids’ run through the beautiful tree-lined streets of the Tosa East Towne neighborhood, with net proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House Charities.REGISTERBUTTONThe mission of the run is to bring residents together and promote our wonderful neighborhood while raising money for charity, and after the 2015 race, the Tosa East Towne Neighborhood Association donated $3,000 in proceeds from the race to RMHC Eastern Wisconsin. This is our third year in the current format, and we're looking to build on the race's recent success, with the help of this year's lead sponsors, BelAir Cantina and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. We invite you to join us as a runner, volunteer, sponsor, vendor or simply a resident cheering on the runners as they pass through our neighborhood.Facebook event

5K run/walk at 9 a.m. May 14

BelAir Tosa BullThe 5K, sponsored by BelAir Cantina, is chip-timed by West Bend-based Absolute Race Timing, which scrolls results on kiosks and a monitor at the finish line and also emails runners their results after they finish. The course starts at 69th Street and North Avenue and weaves through the neighborhood between 74th Street and 62nd Street. This year's course is still being finalized, and we may pursue course certification by the USATF this year.

Kids' run at 8:30 a.m. May 14

Children's Hospital of WisconsinThe kids' run, sponsored by Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, is about a half mile, looping one neighborhood block and finishing under the same finish line arch as the 5K. The run is recommended for children ages 10 and younger, and each young runner gets a Run Tosa Run T-shirt and a finisher's medal. We also offer various children's activities near the starting/finishing line.
