Neighbors like you are needed to join TETNA's board
Tosa East Towne Neighborhood Association remains an active institution serving your neighborhood, by providing local information to members, hosting events and working to improve the quality of life for residents. This is a completely volunteer association made up of neighbors like you, and we are looking for additional neighbors to step up and serve a term on the board. This is a great way to get active in your neighborhood, and the time commitment starts with just attendance at our monthly meetings, which typically are held at 7 p.m. on the second Monday of each month. The board oversees the great work of TETNA's event coordinators, and board members typically volunteer at some of those events when they are able. We also encourage board members to share ideas for new events, initiatives or communications.New terms start in May. If you would like to learn more about serving on the board, please email info@tosaeasttowne.org.The new board usually is elected in April at TETNA's Annual Meeting. The coronavirus pandemic continues to shake up our spring schedule, and that includes the Annual Meeting, which previously was scheduled for April 15 at Tosa Bowl & Bun. Instead, the TETNA board is working to facilitate the official functions of the Annual Meeting -- such as budget presentation and board election -- online and by email. When it becomes possible to gather again in person, we look forward to rescheduling an Annual Meeting-style event and other fun activities that showcase our neighborhood. In the meantime, please remember your neighbors while you are staying "Safer at Home."
