The new ice rink at Center Street Park is almost ready to go, and the grand opening is scheduled for Saturday, January 17.The Friends of Center Street park are very excited that this project is now underway.  We are looking forward to seeing you and your family at the rink.The rink will officially open on Saturday, January 17, 2015, with a reception from 11am to 6pm and a ribbon cutting at 1pm. The reception will feature free hot chocolate and coffee, as well as additional concessions for sale—including s'mores kits!A big thank you to the following businesses and organizations that have contributed to this project:

Here are a couple of ways that you can help us to make the ice rink and even bigger success:We are collecting gently used skates to lend out.  Donation boxes are located at all three firehouses in Wauwatosa, and a donation box will be located in the pavilion at the park once the rink is open.  Skates of any size, in gently used condition will be gratefully accepted.We are also looking for adult and teen volunteers to work in the pavilion selling concessions, lending out skates and tending the fire.
