Participating homeowners set the bar frighteningly high last year in our inaugural Halloween decorating contest, but don't let that scare you away from entering this year's contest. We'd love to expand the pool of contestants this year as we award prizes to the top three.

Register your house in Tosa East Towne Neighborhood Association's contest with this form by Friday, Oct. 25. All registered homes of TETNA members will be eligible to win.

Entrants must submit photos for judges' review. Creativity is a plus. Judges also will take into account overall scariness, though your decoration concept need not be scary to win. Selection criteria ultimately will be up to the judges.

House decoration winners will be announced and prizes distributed on Sunday, Oct. 28. Prizes provided by Fish Cheeks, Café Blue and The Fermentorium.

And don't miss TETNA's Nighttime Trick or Treat from 6:30-8:30 on Saturday, Oct. 27.
