Dive in for Hoyt: Sporting Goods Resale

Bring your kids and your wallet for great deals on gently used sporting goods like football gear, scooters and bikes all donated by your neighbors.  While you’re there, learn more about the plans for our new pool, enjoy the music and food, visit with local sports mascots, and watch sports demonstrations. You can even bid on silent auction and raffle items donated by local businesses.

About the Friends of Hoyt Park & Pool

Our MissionEnhance the quality of life for all members of the community by supporting the development, maintenance and ongoing operation of a medium-sized outdoor family pool at Hoyt Park.Our ProgressThe Friends of Hoyt Park & Pool consists of people from Wauwatosa and greater Milwaukee. Our current focus is raising the funds necessary to support this mission. With your help we’ve made great strides! In 2007 we received a $4 million challenge grant from the TOSA Foundation, enabling us to focus our ongoing efforts on raising the matching funds. We have had several successful events such as the Kids Splash for Hoyt: Toy & Book Sale 2007, Hearts for Hoyt Auctions in 2007 & 2008, and several Hoyt Perks in 2008, where community groups have come to learn more about our project. In addition, we conducted environmental soil testing at the pool site, and have successfully negotiated and signed a lease with the county for the pool property.
