Blood Drive
Saturday, April 4 • 9AM-2PMRoosevelt Elementary
After a positive response in the fall, TETNA will continue to support Jake’s biannual blood drives. The next Blood Drive is scheduled for Saturday, April 4th, 9am to 2pm, in the Roosevelt School Gym. Make an appointment by contacting Jennifer Aldrich at 414-810-4793 or email jaaldrich@jhancock.com (It is not necessary to contact the Blood Center). On the day of the blood drive, use Roosevelt School’s 74th Street entrance to get to the gym. If needed, childcare will be provided.Blood donations save lives. Many of you are familiar with the fact that transfusions are used after car accidents and emergency surgeries, but there are other uses as well. Jake receives transfusions to fight the side effects of the chemotherapy he is undergoing to treat childhood cancer. If you’ve never made a blood donation, please visit bcw.edu to learn more about the process, and some of the people you might be helping. For more information, download the following PDFs from the Blood Center of Wisconsin:
