2010 Nighttime Trick-or-Treat

This event is for Tosa East Towne Neighborhood children and grandchildren ages 14 years and under. You must register to participate and all children must be accompanied by an adult while trick-or-treating. New to the Neighborhood?TETNA’s annual nighttime trick-or-treat escapades—different than the city of Wauwatosa’s daytime event—offers a safe and fun Halloween alternative for neighborhood children.Trick or Treat Blocks2400 and 2500 Blocks from 62nd - 67th and 69th – 73rd Streets. (The blocks closest to Center Street and North Avenue, and all of 68th street are excluded for traffic safety reasons.)Trick-or-Treat HousesHouses distributing candy will display an orange pumpkin sign and should have a light on. If you would like to distribute candy and your house is located within the Trick-or-Treat blocks, please stop by during Trick-or-Treat registration to pick up candy and register your home.Crossing GuardsIf your home is not in the designated area, but you would like to distribute candy, please consider volunteering as a crossing guard at an intersection. Get into the spirit and wear a costume if you like! Adults and teens can help… this is a fun service project for scout troops, church groups, etc.Halloween Yard of DistinctionThe East Towne Association Board will be awarding Halloween Yards of Distinction to a selection of houses again this year. While trick-or-treating, look for signs posted on the best decorated homes in the neighborhood.
